GGS-SPECTRUM APPOINTS KNUT ØVERSJØEN AS CEO

(Oslo, July 26th 2007) The Board of Directors in Global Geo Services ASA has appointed Knut Øversjøen as Chief Executive Officer of the company. Following this appointment, the engagement of Eddie Berglund as Chief Executive Officer has been terminated. Knut Øversjøen will take over from Eddie Berglund on August 6. 2007.
Mr. Øversjøen has previously worked as Executive Vice President for Finance and M&A in Umoe ASA, as Chief Executive Officer in Kverneland ASA and as Chief Financial Officer in respectively Petroleum Geo Services ASA and Hafslund ASA
